Family Radio Service
These are the frequencies for the Family Radio Service (FRS) This has become very popular, especially at campgrounds, ski resorts, amusement parks, fairs, train shows, car shows, flea markets...and the list goes on... I use the MIDLAND 75-507. The 75-507 has VOX, call channel, scan, and of course... all 14 channels. There is also an option for a speaker mic. Very nice unit.
